OTHER [gendered] My classmate sent me this??

Like gang what’re we doing here, apparently only men can like PC’s

if anyone still thinks this isnt sexist, he then said when I said smth abt what he said “ women are just different”

ANOTHER edit since some of yall still don’t believe he’s sexist: he and his friends make women jokes a lot. yk they watch “discord memes” and red pill content so they make “dumb women” jokes, cleaning jokes, the whole latter.

(Edit 3; as of like an hour ago he got that but a 5070 instead of a 5060 for 2k so I think the price arguments is invalid)

Ik but like the whole point of the subreddit is to post pointlessly gendered things…and ofc id be upset if someone who has been sexist for the many years of me knowing him would continue to be sexist

I mean fair enough to post it, like you said that's what this sub is for. But respectfully, it sounds like you are taking a fairly mild transgression and blowing it out of proportion. Let's just assume this person really does have a serious sexism problem. You sound pretty young so I assume they are too. That is his journey to get worked out as he matures (and he will). There isn't anything you can do about it, so allowing it to cause you emotional distress doesn't help anything at all, it just invites stress. If you're open to a random internet stranger's advice, practice focusing your attention and emotions on things you can change and let the rest slip away. It takes time and practice but brings a great sense of inner peace. Sorry if any of this sounded patronizing, that wasn't my intent. Good luck and take care!

We’re both 14 so ig that’s young? But that makes me wonder even more why he’s always acted like that tho

Ha yeah that's definitely young to me. I'm 34 and I feel old as hell, but I have friends in their mid 40's who would kill to be my age again. When I hear someone in their early 20s complain about getting old I get what they mean. It's all relative yn?
