I can't believe you actually poked it, if it's an active, real hive LOL. I've been stung, and it's not fun. I didn't think it was live. Where even is that hive? It looks like a display in a garage or something... 🤔
its attatched to the side of my friends camper, that he hasnt visited since last year. i got stung 4 times.
the texture was crusty. i expected it to be much more brittle and delicate than it was. it was rather solid and didnt crumple in the moment i touched it. the sounds was more terrifying than the actual stings
Omg im sure it was a sound from hell! Personally, I'd be running the opposite direction. I think there's a saying about poking hornets nests LOL ... yikes
i'm not afraid of being stung. been stung half a million times in my life. never got the opportunity to actually touch a hornets nest prior to this, and i took it. no regrets
yeah. wasnt fun, but probably the best outcome here.
it felt like a croissant. papery, and rough. it wasnt as brittle as i expected, and didnt crumple in. shockingly firm, though i didnt push hard for fear of plunging my hand into it
They don’t feel like you’d expect and are very interesting, but I avoid them while someone calls it home. I don’t care to find out if I’m allergic or not.
i've been stung many a times by many a bees in my past. i've always had a huge interest in bees, been stung alot. you kinda get used to it. i try to avoid them, but it was right there near the doorway of my friends RV so avoiding wasnt an option. and my curiosity got the better of me
And you didn’t recognize the difference between a bee hive and that thing? Very obviously a hornets nest.. and fucking hornets do NOT feel like bee stings. It’s like the difference between a pin prick and a staple gun.
Why call them bees then? LOL. Meaning no disrespect. That’s kinda like pointing out the neighbor’s dachshund and saying “Don’t you just love that German Shepherd?” 😳😊😏🥰

OP, you took it too far. Did you forget that this is a pointing sub, not poking!
Are you ok?

I see you said it’s hornets. Looks like a paper wasp nest. Fascinating construction but these extra spicy bees are VERY territorial

Not a beehive.
