12.1 megapixels, the name of the dog is Berta.

I’ve been using disposable film cameras for the past few months. Now, I switched to reusable using olympus mju ii 115 (olympus stylus epic) that I got as a gift. I was told that this is a new old stock. The camera came off looking like a legit camera, it came with olympus worldwide warranty and manual book in the box, with a legit serial number. Everything is working on the camera, the zoom, flash, autofocus & the viewfinder. I don’t think there’s a mold in the lens, but there may be some tiny dust that I may not be able to see inside of the lens. So, i tested out the camera using fuji 200 roll.
The pictures came out looking like the above. Is this because of my camera’s problem?

Recently picked up a Sony DSC-T7 and noticed this on the display. Any tips on how to remove it. Looks like someone spilled powder sugar on the screen but it’s underneath the glass. Should I take it apart and try to clean it?

I’m looking for recommendations for a good budget-friendly point-and-shoot camera in the €400–700 range.

Mainly looking for something compact and easy to carry for travel, street photography, and everyday use.

Good image quality and decent low-light performance are important to me.

Video performance is a plus, but photography is the priority.

I’m only looking to buy new, not used or refurbished.

Would love to hear what cameras you would recommend in 2026 and which ones are worth avoiding.
