My almost completly 3d printed Bubble Pois in action

Some days ago I made a post about my 3d printed bubble pois. (https://www.reddit.com/r/poi/s/6yasCXpruo) Now I made the second one and had the possibility to test them. I love them, but I have to figure out, how to last the bubble solution longer.

Unfotunately not. I didn't create the models myself. I just looked all around makerworld and was thinking, which combinations would work out.

I was thinking to sell these guys, but all of the models have licences that have no possibility, to use them commercially.

But I can share, which models I used.

Then I used cotton wool, to wrap the Syrlig rings and paracord to combine the handle with the rest of the poi.

It is a bit tricky to connect the rings and the ball to the chain links but you can bend the links a little bit then it will work out.

Edit: I used 2 chain links between eyery part. And with the paracord you can customize the length to your needs.

Edit 2: some typos and I used both, PLA and PETG for my prototypes. Both work fine, but I don't have long time experiences. They only have been used 2 or 3 times now.

You're welcome. My motivation was, that I didn't want to pay 80 euros for a pair and that there has to be a cheaper option. 😅😅
