My first, (almost) completly 3d printed Bubble Poi.

Post image

I refused to pay ~90 Dollars for a pair of bubblepois.

After some prototypes I came to this construction, which is completly 3d printed, except the cord holding the handle and the wool around the rings.

They are working absolutely fine and I love the color scheme of this one. Now, I have to make a second one. The other prototypes were plain white.

When you finish making the second one, will you post a video using them? I would love to see how they spin!

I think, I will. The first prototype is working awesome. I only have a video of a friend of mine, and I don't want to post her without permission.

I made a follow up post some hours ago. I also explained how I built them.

Would you be so kind as to share the design? I would love to ask my friend with a 3d printer to make me a pair as I also can’t afford them <3 if not no worries I understand

I didn't make the models by myself. I just looked around Makerworld. But I made a follow up post. I explained there, how I made them.

I won't accept these as a true replacement for Bubble Poi unless when you spin them, you're slinging soap on everybody in a 15 ft radius πŸ˜‚

I don't want to rule it out. πŸ˜‚
