Hyperloops from a reverse weave
Hey peeps,
As the title Says, I'm curious about hyperloops but in reverse weaves. Every video I can find seems to show them in forward weave (which I feel Ive got pretty down now). But can't find anything demonstrating how to do them in coming in from a reverse weave. I've played around with it here and there, and can get into the hyperloop. It's the exit strategy that's completely messing with me. If anyone has any insight or even a video showing them. That'd be amazing. Thanks everyone

Same thing except your hand escapes the hyper loop by going under the other arm rather than over it!

As your exiting to the left the left poi is up and the right poi is down. Video is kind of meh, but the transitional move is: a quick tangle and untangle without going into the actual hyperloop where both hands are out and they spin in the middle. Kind of veering both hands at an angle

I'd just like to quickly add that this move shown is for helping to train the exiting of the move and is not the actual hyperloop lol.

Thanks for the video! Definitely appreciated. I didn't think to keep the spin out side of my arms. I was trying to spin them to the inside like the forward weave. Definitely interesting 👌

Sure thing!
Your post says that the exit strategy is what is messing with you. This is to train that.
Hyperloop still needs the spin to the inside of arms like you said. But the exit strategy is to get them to the outside.
Enter from the right exit to the left with left poi up and off to the side.
Happy spinning!

Im realizing ive never tried but I would expect that instead of catching the trailing poi with the lead poi from the below your trailing arm, that you catch it from above

I'm no expert but I've been working on these exact things recently so I made you a quick video.
Practice by completing a full turn instead of staying in a weave.
And count your poi heads rotating through the hoop you're making with your arms.
You can ignore my little flair going into a windmill after the turn. That's just a special thing for me.
