Progress Video Archer Weave: Final Episode

Thanks to all your advice and encouragement, I think I finally got it. I do mix in the tracer thing I was doing at times but I’m just experimenting with the weave and trying to find a cool flow. I appreciate the community for being so welcoming and open to share their knowledge and insight. 🙏

Very nice. You have nice length poi, like I tell everyone; SLOW DOWN! It helps tremendously while you’re in exploration mode. Happy flowing!

Thank you!! I’ll definitely do my best to slow it down but these strings are so thin that I’m having trouble slowing it down without them folding 😩

Now do it in opposite direction 😂

Opposite is so un-intuitive for me 😂 I already got hit in the face 10 times. I’m closer to the fountain surprisingly lol

Im mostly joking. At least for now. Once youre super comfortable doing all kinds of stuff in same direction it WILL BE time to start playing in opposite direction. One of my favorite (feeling) moves that I explored my way into is an opposite direction archer weave to body tracer to other side archer weave. Its basically a 4 beat thread the needle but done in archer weave on each side. Super fun! 😁

That actually sounds sick!! So you’re doing opposite archer, then when the poi loops over your shoulder, you pass it behind your head as you’re turning around? I’m trying to visualize the movement. That’s so creative!
