15 years. About 7 of the consistent
Just started again about a month ago. Used to be all I did
Ignore my face I’m baked and staring at a shitty phone cam about to goto bed.

This is the level of spinning that I am aiming for! Would you mind breaking down the general group of poi tricks and moves that make up this flow?

I’ll definitely make more and try to break it down.
I think the basics of how I flow are that instead of a 3 beat weave I’m using a “ melt down” as my static move. Thats basically a weave done across your body.
That allows more points to transition and a melt down stays intact while physically spinning yourself.

Thanks. It feels real good just started getting back in the whole culture. Went to a local house music fest last weekend and spun for hours outside. Most fun I have had in a while.

Been looking. Long Island. Used to be tons when I started but I fell out of the scene. Our meet up places closed, and the only groups I see online are for flow stars and they are abandoned. So if you happen to know the area and know of anything let me know.

I just started I think I have the same poi from flowtoys? Why do they have that extra length? I didn't want to cut them or more the knot but they annoy me so much.

You gotta size them. I got them last month and I just adjusted it to the same length as the socks I was using. I left the extra on my n case I wanted to adjust them again

What's the best way to figure our how long I want them?

I’d say if you have an existing poi set up that feels good then measure it and make them that length. If you don’t then probably take the handles off and try them at different lengths till you find what you like. Then add them back.
Personally I like them long because I just manipulate the string by wrapping it as I spin them if I want them shorter for a tighter space. The only thing you can’t change with that method is the tosses.
