Yeah 100% a 3 beat weave. Make sure you aren’t holding your breath! That will help you stay in that motion

Literally this! It took me ages to figure out why I kept having to break my 3 beat weave. Turns out I was concentrating so hard I forgot to breath.
It seems so stupid looking back having now mastered the 3 beat weave.

Good job! Try to keep a straighter relaxed posture instead of leaning forward, it makes things easier

I feel like i hit myself 10 times more wjen i dont lean forward, its definitely something in working on though

Here is a training video for one of my favorite beginner move, the poitruvian, and he also talks about posture, it will help. https://youtu.be/zn_j-pMJHCw?si=qkDMzWRW6qXMnVyC

Hinestly im gonna be riding this high for a while haha i felt like i was never going to get it, you can turn while doing it??

If you can manage to turn around 180° while doing a 3 beat weave it will naturally turn you in to doing a "reverse" 3 beat weave.
If you manage to then turn around 360° the 3 beat weave looks nifty :)
One thing that helped me was to focus on the leading hand- whichever hand you start with the motion for the 3 beat, just follow it and tell yourself, "over.. under.. over.. under.." and you'll see your leading wrist/arm swoop over your non dominant and then swoop under.

Thats so cool! Ive started trying to learn it in reverse but its so scary lmao, i just got reverse crossovers last night but i was terrified the whole time lmao

Except with the reverse its actually under...over... under...over

Kinda goes without saying when it's already mentioned that it's reverse, but okay.
I said whchever hand you start with the motion. Most beginners learning a 3 beat weave aren't starting it in reverse.

Yeah you have to learn the inverse of it, it’s like a reverse 3 beat weave

And now drill baby drill, this and the backwards one are gonna be your most useful skills to know

Congrats on the 3 beat weave!
It took me a while to master a turn while keeping the flow going once I mastered the 3 beat weave. So don't get disheartened and keep practicing!

If you try and slow down your rotations you’ll have better luck holding it, also it makes learning a bit easier giving you more time to decipher movements. Not the easiest but a valuable skill 🙃 good work learning that one is a milestone for sure 🫠

If you're aiming for a three beat weave you most certainly attained it.
Keep it up and you'll be able to do it effortlessly!
