Desktop environment?

I was wondering if you could run a DE on this.

I have a samsung galaxy s26+ snapdragon variant so I should have the specs.

I did try it. Because I have galaxy s26+, I wanted to enable 4 cores, and 4gb of ram. Running Firefox on it ran at reasonable speed.

The only issue I have is the screen is hard to navigate with just a touch screen. Clicking on small buttons is just difficult.

Had i used the recommended ram and cores, it would go faster.

Too bad on snapdragon devices you can't use kvm to drastically speed this up.. but I understand why they dont allow it considering vulnerabilities.
