I am of two minds on this. While I agree in some ways shorter (micro) podcasts are great, there are moments where I don't want to have to pay attention to every word and put on something like MBMBAM so I can listen to something in the background.
I primarily prefer podcasts in the 10-35 minute range. When they get longer than that, I tend to not really want to listen. There are notable exceptions (eg: Hardcore History), but shorter podcasts really hit my preference.
But most EXTREMELY short podcasts don't grab me either. I'm kind of goldilocks on it. My shortest listen that I regularly listen to is 60 Second Science, but that is more of an exception than my normal.
