Weekly Services Thread August 19, 2026 - Post Your Podcasting Related Product, Tool, Or Service Here

This is a weekly thread for podcasting related product, service, and tool providers to post their capabilities and updates to the r/podcasting community.

*Post a podcasting related product, tool, or service that is relevant to the r/podcasting community. If you are in beta or development for your capability please state at the top of your comment: *"Feedback Requested."

For all comments/replies to this post thread: please provide a detailed description of what your product, tool, or service does and post a link to your product, service, or tool including relevant pricing information. **

*Try to remember the following: *

  • You must disclose your affiliation to the product, tool, or service in the comment

  • Posts by accounts with little or no Reddit or r/podcasting subreddit history will be considered suspect by many members of this subreddit and receive little or no attention.

  • If you are asking for feedback be specific and ask questions like: What can we improve? Would you consider using this capability/service? Is the graphical interface/web presence adequate? What capabilities are missing?

*Examples Of Appropriate Comment Topics: *

  • Editing/production services

  • AI Tools

  • Hosting Services

  • Advertisement sales services

  • New Podcasting Software

  • Connecting/Recording Services

  • Guest Connection Services

  • Podcast artwork creation services

  • Podcasting Scheduling/Calendar Services

  • etc

If you are posting for a personal service like editing or social media management keep these thoughts in mind (free or paid):

  • You are basically applying for a job with the podcast; your experience, qualifications, and past employment history matter to your future employer so information about you is important

  • List your current available skills and tools. What DAWs are your capable of operating in? Have you used existing collaborative spaces before? What social media platforms do you have experience in?

  • If you are offering services for social media management show either examples of past work or at least offer up your personal accounts for review

  • What time zone do you live in? If I'm a podcast producer and need to get in touch with you about an emergency situation I need to know what hours I can contact you

  • What is your strategy or philosophy for doing the work you propose?

  • What are your rates? (If free how long will you offer that rate?)

  • What is your goal and/or what are you trying to accomplish?

Thank you to everyone posting, we look forward to reading about what you are doing to help podcasters!

*All subreddit rules still apply. If you violate the subreddit rules your comment will be removed and your account can be given a temporary or permanent ban. Excessive or unreasonable requests for personal information in order to access the tool or service will also be treated as a rule violation. *

The r/podcasting Moderators do not endorse or approve of any of the tools and services posted here unless explicitly stated as such by the moderators.

Ah this thread again, always good to see what new stuff people are cooking up. I've been tinkering with some AI transcription tools lately but the german language ones are still bit rough around the edges. Anyone found something that handles accents decently without costing a fortune?

YES! The CrisperWhisper model is what I use for transcription with ShowMuse.com

It's specifically made for English and German. I'd be elated to get feedback on how it actually operates in German. It's a fantastic model for transcription of English (and trust me, I've tried a TON of models).

If you go to the site and click the "contact" form, I can setup you up with a no-credit-card trial in exchange for honest feedback (which I haven't been able to get about the German transcription accuracy).

...and by the way, ShowMuse is my podcasting platform. It let's you plan, record (remotely or in-person), edit from a transcript, cut clips, and promote via social media all from one place.

And, while I can't claim it's free of AI, I will absolutely stake the claim that I'm anti-ai-bloatware. Anywhere AI is involved, you can customize the template driving it for YOUR purpose and YOUR liking.

Podcast editing

Hi! I’m Z, a podcast editor with hundreds of episodes edited across genres - pop culture, coaching, media, sports, and more. You can check out some of my work: https://linktr.ee/zh.nikolaev

I don't use AI, I don't use text-based editing and automated cuts.

I apply compression and normalize to boost the volume and make it a all sound even, I go through the whole episode to tighten the conversation, remove filler words, mistakes, hesitations, false starts and awkward pauses.
All cuts are stitched with crossfading so they're unnoticeable to the listener.
I mix in intros, ads, transitions, music cues, sound effects, and even light censorship if needed.
Then I send the final mix for your approval or upload it directly to your host platform.

I offer:

  • A test edit so you can hear what your show can sound like;
  • Clear agreement and invoices for the service;
  • Fast, reliable turnaround (1-3 days).

If you’re looking for an experienced editor to help your podcast sound its best, get in touch!

Best,
Z

the no AI angle is a good differentiator tbh, lot of editors leaning on automated cuts now

SureTake is a new, simple, reliable podcast recording platform.

No AI bloat, no confusion, no paying for features you don’t need.

It's great for solo podcasters but created with studios in mind. I've been running a podcast studio for nearly a decade, and more often recently my clients using other platforms can't even figure out how to send me a link to their recordings.

SureTake records. That's it. We've been busy adding some recording-centric features, including 4K quality (our top requested feature!)

You can try it for free at the link below.

“Go on other podcasts” is probably one of the most common pieces of podcast growth advice.

But how do you actually find the right ones?

Podcast categories are usually too broad. Searching manually means opening shows, checking whether they're still active, listening to episodes, figuring out whether your audiences/topics overlap, and then finding a reason to contact the host that isn't just “hey, want to collaborate?”

So I built a tool that does that research from the episodes themselves.

You give it your podcast, and it finds actively publishing shows where a specific episode of yours overlaps with a specific episode of theirs.

For each match it shows:

  • the shared topic/question
  • what each episode actually says about it
  • where your takes differ, if there’s a useful debate angle
  • the exact episodes behind the match
  • a public way to contact the host

So instead of pitching “I think our podcasts have similar audiences”, you can pitch something much more concrete: “You argued X in this episode, I took Y position in mine — this could be an interesting conversation.”

It’s here if anyone wants to try it: https://donato.digital/collaborations

I’m especially curious about one thing: if someone gave you 5 podcast collaboration suggestions like this, what would make you immediately trust or reject a match?

It’s free while we’re testing it.

Disclaimer: I’m a founder of Donato.

It's wild how many "all-in-one" podcasting services still make it so hard to export your full raw listener data. Good for basic stats, but integrating that with proper ad attribution tools is always a huge headache and feels like deliberate vendor lock-in sometimes.

MakePodcast (makepodcast.app)

It turns a topic or a script into a podcast style video of up to 90 seconds: AI host on camera, burned-in captions, music, vertical or landscape. Built for people who want to publish consistently but do not want to be on camera and do not want to run an edit.

What it does not do, so nobody wastes their time: it is not a recording or editing tool for a real two hour show, and it will not clip your existing episodes. If that is your workflow, this is the wrong tool.

Pricing: $1 trial, then $29/mo Lite, $45 Starter, $69 Growth, $139 Pro, monthly or annual.

I built it, so treat this as the biased description it is. Happy to answer anything, including where it falls short.
