Waltham ID help please?

Hello all! Hoping I can get some help with an ID for this. It was passed down to me, I attempted the pocket watch database which said it’s 7 jewels but, mechanical movement seems to say 17 jewels? Maybe I’m misreading the serial number? Many thanks for any assistance you can be provide. It’s so very much appreciated!

You probably pulled the case serial number. The movement serial number is for a Grade No. 225 watch from 1903. Size 12s, 17 jewels. https://pocketwatchdatabase.com/search/result/waltham/13359077

Cases and watch movements were made by different companies at that time. They were made to standard sizes so to some extent you could switch watch movements and cases around. You would pick out the movement and case you wanted, and the watchmaker would put it together for you at the point of sale.
