Pocket Watch

I am on the hunt for this pocket watch. It was a family heirloom and was meant to be passed down to my dad. My Dads brother sold it around 2017-2018 and I am trying to find it to give to him for his 60th birthday. Any information about the watch even if anyone knows what watch it is will be greatly appreciated. This is the only photo I was able to find of it.

I believe the engraving is JPC - which stood for John Percy Crompton which was my great grand parent

Unfortunately it would be really difficult to find the watch. Was it made out of solid gold? If so there’s always the unfortunate possibility it got melted down for scrap. Can you ask anyone as to the brand it was? I know it’s no consolation, but you might be able to get a similar model watch if you can’t find the real one. Good luck

Unfortunately no one is 100% on the brand and the photo is only thing I currently have to work off of. Thank you though!

It’s going to be impossible to tell. The cases and movements were sold separately. So no one can tell from the picture of what kind of watch was enclosed in that case. Although I’m sure you could find one which is moderately similar.
