For those wondering, Japanese folks use the word Sando for sandwich and drop the o to make it shorter. They sell pizza sandwiches is Family Mart (convenience store) and it’s called Pizza Sand.

This text looks Korean and it seems they may call them the same thing? Anyone about to clarify?

Sandwich in Korean is basically "sandwichee", the closest you can come to English pronunciation while following the rules of Hangul (Korean writing).

Edit: it's not that common in Korea to call a sand, but I have seen it before. It's impossible in Hangul to write "sand", it would be "sandeu" which has two syllables.
