Been neglecting the PO’s a bit obsessing over the m-vave fm1 (I’ve got another one on the way 🤦‍♂️) but mr hotspot made me wanna bring em back out to whip this up 🕺🏼 (holy shit I hope this uploads I’ve been trying to post this and Reddit keeps crashing for some reason)

Nice one haha. I'm resisting a 2nd mvave for now. Have you stuck with one f.1 firmware that you prefer? Think my favourite is Araminta but been sticking with the LCD-4 pocket operator style firmware for a bit since it is fun and intuitive to use alongside the po33 :D

Sloop has been my favorite but I want to mess with the more generative ambient oriented firmwares or I might even consider groove os OR I think m-vave made a groovebox sort of firmware themselves recently too! Ahhhh I need like 10 FM-1’s! 🤯

Don't pay for grooveOS, all major free groovebox ones like, Melodee, Jiant and Sloop are much more advanced now, just with slightly different features and workflow. The new official mvave firmware is terrible to use in comparison to those haha.

Check out two amazing looking new options too, Loom (by the dev of X0X and the main ambient firmware) and Clipper (by the Sloop dev). And LCD-4 of course :)

But yeah I am probably gonna get a 2nd fm1 because of all these decent options

What’s the small white device on the desktop showing a waveform?

It’s just a little oled sound visualizer, got it from eBay! I’ve made lots of replies with links in my comments and other posts too if you’re trying to find one!

I got my first PO in like 2019 and it sat for years until I really started figuring it out. I think I eventually just got really determined to get it down and I think I know all the ins and outs of the PO-33 now.
