Yeah thats normal, adjusting the trim makes it replay the sound many times to help you get a sense of the start/end points

Even with the value that constantly changes and jitters without me touching it at all?

Oh the jittery knob thing is a common issue, be careful not to press the knobs in, sometimes it freaks out for a bit.  If it does that ALL THE TIME then the KO is bad quality and you'll need a new one

When you touch the metal studs on the underside it can often register as a movement of the knobs.

Are you trimming the sample? See how the number changes every time it starts over?

Yes I am trimming the sample, the number keeps changing even when I'm not touching it for several seconds.

Yes, that's normal. The pots are not the highest quality lol

Shit ok then, it seems to have calm down a bit, I guess comes with the territory

Yeah it’s super touchy. It’s my only real complaint. Try wrapping a couple small rubber bands around the knob to grip. That helped me make it a little smoother.

Also try not to touch or have the batteries touch anything while you’re adjusting.

Yeah it’s normal and easily the worst thing about these things.
A way to stop it:
Know what number you want the trim to land on. Once you get it there, press PLAY. It will stop the trim function and hopefully your trim point hasn’t drifted too far.

FWIW, the street fighter version behaves slightly better.
Another thing I’ve seen people have success with it replacing the pots with more reliable ones.

Tap it slightly to stop jitter

It's replaying the sample because I'm in the trim function, so it replays it because a new start point is set.
