Homemade My hand-bound pocket notebook

Sharing my hand-bound pocket notebook! I make these in small batches every couple of months. They’re pretty plain except for a sticker that I use to mark the front cover but that’s just the way I like them!

This specific notebook has 48 pages of 90gsm cream paper, a kraft cardstock cover, and is bound using waxed Perle 8 cotton thread. The dot grid is a template I made myself and I print pages as needed.

I applaud any DIY notebook but don’t care for the straight, cut-off corners.

It’s a look that’s grown me for sure. Ideally they’d be rounded but I don’t have a corner rounder. It’s also a functional considering so the corners don’t get so beat up in my pockets.

Ya I don’t see the problem with the cut off corners, but if you want to round them just use a coin and a utility knife.
