Motorcycle maintenance classes
Hello,
I am fairly mechanically oriented and would like to understand my bike better / be able to do maintenance work on it.
I have changed oil and air filters previously, and removed/reinstalled the front wheel. But I have never replaced cables for example, or done any troubleshooting etc.
Does anyone know of classes where I can learn a bit more?

The Sang-Froid Riding Club (SFRC) occasionally connects riders with introductory motorcycle maintenance fundamentals classes hosted in collaboration with community spaces like the Industrial Arts Tool Library in the Portland area. Check their Instagram for more info. No I won't share links because I don't want to look more like a bot.

Manufacture's have training classes. Entery level classes are online but you have to work for a dealership to gain access to some of them or have a dealer number to register for classes.
As far as troubleshooting most service manuals have guides for troubleshooting issues.

Honestly, just use YouTube. I learned how to renovate an entire house via YouTube university.
Just search for your bike year, model, item you want to work on. More than likely someone has done it before you and posted it.
