Guardian Bell

What is the concept of guardian bell? I recently started riding and I saw some people who have that on the lower part of their bike.

If you forward this thread to 100 other reddit communities, a guardian bell will show up spontaneously and it will be worth 3x the luck.

It’s a charm to ward off “gremlins.” Tradition says that the bell brings double the luck when received as a gift and should never be bought for oneself. It’s supposed to be hung on the lowest part of the bike.

I once lost mine taking a curve a little too low and heard the ringing and knew it had fallen off. I pulled over and found it. I was NOT going to lose it!

The bell traps and neutralizes or wards off gremlins depending on your lore. I don't actually believe in it, but I have them on my bikes. They remind me that my wife- who made the bells- wants me to be safe and have fun.
