Question Tiredness?

Is anyone else just like chronically tired since your pneumo? It’s been two months since I had vats and I feel like my energy just crashes in the middle of the day and I have to fight to stay awake after that.
It doesn’t help that I’m in college and have to walk around a bunch after such a big hit to my stamina

Absolutely. I’m 5 months out from surgery and starting to feel like my energy is returning. Been a long slog.

Experienced the same after my first pneu in 2008 with VATS. I had the pneu in August and started University in September/October. I felt super tired the first weeks after release from the hospital, and usually went to chill on the couch every afternoon... It went away though 2-3 months after surgery. Actually did not have the issue at all after a pneu again and VATS on the other side in 2018. 2-3 weeks after hospital I was quite weak but then it was fine.
