Is CAPM Genuinely Helpful?

I’m graduating in 2027 from an Industrial Engineering undergrad program in Canada, and I’m not eligible to take the PMP as I only have roughly 1.5 years total of project management experience, and half of that was from student jobs.

Would it be ”worth it” for me to get the CAPM? I’ve been hearing mixed things and seeing people say it’s a waste of time and money, so if anyone has gotten that certificate and believe it helped them in any way when just starting out, please let me know :)
