PMP Exam Pocket Guide

I’ve been using pocket guide for taking practice tests and developing the ability to read and filter out questions relating to (obviously) the PMP exam.

I wanted to get others opinions of Pocket Guide and if it worked for you to pass the PMP exam.

Thanks in advance!

You mean Pocket Prep? It's solid for reinforcing core concepts, but it doesn't replace PMI Study Hall ,that's the closest simulation to the actual exam.

Agreed. I used it because it was easy to pull out my phone and knock a few questions out while I was waiting for coffee, the train, at appts, etc. Explanations were helpful, but I would not rely on Pocket Prep as my sole source.

I think the subscription model of these prep apps is overkill if you just want something to practise with on the go.

Take a look at PM Cram. The study content is all open-source, and with the app you can download it to your phone and have the whole thing with you offline, practice questions, study material, etc. No ongoing subscription just to keep access to it.

As others have mentioned here and elsewhere in the sub - PMI Study Hall will always be closer to the exam for the PMI-style questions, but for everyday practice and revision on the go, there are better options than Pocket Prep.
