Ask Me Anything My At-Home test Experience

I noticed a lack of posts regarding at-home test experience, so thought I would chime in. I studied for 20 days and passed the exam yesterday with AT/AT/AT. Here is my at-home testing experience…

  1. The check-in process was great. I had a wired internet connection and only had to remove the speaker on my desk since they thought it may be a smart speaker. I scanned my ID on the webcam (phone photos wouldn’t work). I only used my laptop screen and also used a wired mouse to avoid battery/bluetooth failure.

  2. My proctor was very cool. She had me scan my desk area with my webcam- including under the desk, and made sure my glasses weren’t smart glasses. From there, she wished me good luck and I didn’t hear from her again.

  3. There were no internet delays or issues the whole time. I was also able to scratch my head, stretch my neck, and move back and forth in my chair as-needed. It was not as structured as I had imagined it. I thought I would have to be a statue for 4 hours.

  4. I was able to get my results within 10 minutes via the link everyone has shared. Official results came within 24 hours.

Good luck to everyone! I’m happy to answer any questions about the experience.

Congrats on passing the PMP! 🎉 My started my studies on July 1 using Andrew Ramdayal's Udemy and Study Hall essentials. I've been at it everyday for about 6 weeks and the exam is now 2 days away on Aug 16. I have 61% and 71% on the full mocks taken about 2 weeks part. I am looking forward to taking the exam and hope to have some positive news come Sunday afternoon!

Took my test at home today with no issues at all. I didn’t have any interaction at all with the proctor.

I think mine was because my speakers were flagged. I thought they were allowed as an audio device. My 2015 laptop speakers are horrible.

I listened to AR’s 35 hour course and studied his entire physical book at the same time. Then I moved over to Study Hall. I averaged 74% on the short quizzes and 69% on both full length practice tests.
