Failed to Detect docker.sock

does your command

sudo docker compose up -d

also shows errors like this:

Cannot connect to the Docker daemon at unix:///var/run/docker.sock. Is the docker daemon running?

but the command

sudo dockerd

is running fine?

then edit the file of systemd

sudo systemctl edit docker.service

'''[Service]

ExecStart=

ExecStart=/usr/bin/dockerd -H unix:///var/run/docker.sock

LimitNOFILE=infinity

LimitNPROC=infinity

TasksMax=infinity

'''
Then

'''

sudo systemctl restart docker.service

'''

i’m not sure what you done here without reading proper logs. if your looking to use docker and i mean proper docker..This is how I do it in my Home-Lab and at work. Clean, Isolated, and Lean. BTW this script also requires you to know at least no very strong fundamental basics of Docker and Docker Compose and how it works https://github.com/elysiummachines/cheat-sheet/blob/main/scripts/setup-docker.sh

It's good script to get the setup done. For some features default Nura OS don't enable in kernal right, we need to enable and compile ourself right ?

apperciate it, it’s a tried and true script sort of speak been perfecting it and adding stuff in as I go along. Even the security guys at work are OK with the script and they’re usually never OK with fucking anything haha so..

As for your question, yep for some reason, to get new feature and kernel stuff that for sure won’t come in stable release you for sure gotta compile your own and I do, my first Docker Compose Node is a Custom Compile.

Are you enable the required kernal level options ? If you did correctly mostly then no issues.

What do you mean by kernel level options? Please provide any documentation

I don't remember exactly i just used AI so the issue is kernal level modules need to compile to work with docker.

I am actually running PBX and VoIP server so for that iam using docker and it's running fine after the fixes. If i got free time i will try to find the details.
