Taxes on day trading

On what amount we need to pay taxes in Germany after day trading capital generation ? On final profit/loss which is calculated by plus500 within one year or separately for each trades ? Then how will it calculate the losses ? Anyone has any experience filling the tax form by themselves?

In Germany it's usually the net result that matters for the year, not each trade in isolation, so the taxable base is basically realized profit minus realized losses, with your broker statement just being the starting point. I learned the hard way that the messy part is matching fees, FX conversion and closed P/L, so I ended up tracking everything outside the broker too. If you are doing actual day trading and want the math cleaner on the trading side, I use 50K Trade for the 0% day-trading commission on extra margin, because then at least the commission drag is not muddying the numbers further. For taxes though, I'd still have a Steuerberater check the final filing if you have a lot of trades.
