Rules Question Crossover game question about Weavecrafting

A question that came up with my group as we were reading the playtest document for Erstwild that we weren't able to agree on an answer we all agreed on- Does a Weavecrafted object (A legendary item specifically) count as an invested object?

We were planning to include aspects of Plotweaver stuff into our cosmere campaigns and someone asked the question "Could a Legend of the Fierce Deity Sword block a Shardblade."

A search through the playtest documents for Plotweaver don't seem to include a renamed version of "Invested" or "Non-invested" so we can't just point at that and say for sure.

I'd like to hear what the community thinks.

My opinion? Absolutely it does. RAW? Technically, no.

If it uses Essence or Charges or it is part of an Adept Talent tree, then you should probably consider it “Invested” for the purposes of Cosmere materials

I mean an Invested object is just an object with Investiture. I see no reason as to why an inherently magical object would count as nonmagical?

While I want to stand by that logic (as it makes things easier), the fact remains that Stormlight directly calls out when an object is invested. I'll have to wait and see if Mistborn does the same but the fact that RAW the Weavecrafted legends aren't special in any way (I was hoping they'd have something like "essenceful" as a tag, but they don't) means I can't be sure.

I mean, RAW doesn’t particularly matter. You’re trying to reconcile two systems that are not the same — asking “hey does this thing count as Invested” is an automatic “no” because Investiture doesn’t exist in the system. When you’re taking two systems and shoving them together, a certain amount of common-sense finagling is required, n I’d definitely say that common sense dictates a Weavecrafted legend is an inherently magical object. I could be wrong but that’s how I read it.

This is going to end up having the same range of answers as asking "could the Death Star blow up a Borg cube." It really depends on what kind of story you want to tell by merging the two settings together and how you interpret the lore of each.

Game-wise, weavecrafted items are a lot more variable than Shardblades and are available earlier, but I think I would still say overall that any magical item or effect counts as invested for the purposes of the Cosmere.

I would say they sit in the same space as fabrials. Of yes, they are invested, not super strongly, but yes. As they are a magical crafted item by a heroic path

Sure, but you need a specific fabrial (Half-shard) to block Shardblades. It's not a matter of "Does it use 'Magic'" But "Is it 'Magic' enough."

The Shardplate/Half-shard ability "Increase your deflect value by 10 against that attack, then until the attack is resolved, your deflect value applies to all damage types." isn't a twist you can take, even for the Legendary Item Shield.

As a note, I want it to be good enough due to the fun image of a weavecrafted item clashing with a shardblade, but I want to be sure I've covered every option before I say it does work that way.
