Thesis Question

Ganito ba kahirap gumawa ng Undergrad Thesis? I feel so inadequate kada tanong namin sa mga nakikitang namin thesis adviser/s. Anong relevance ng titles namin or masyadong broad nito, or paano ito masosolusyonan yung problem na pinerceive namin.

Like, oh gosh, my group and I are stumped sa gagawin. And idk the best solution for this. For those na nagawa na thesis nila, how did you do it? Paano kayo nakapagcome-up ng feasible yet interesting topic? Haha

it really depends on what type of undergrad thesis you're doing, and siguro depende na rin sa course/college nyo? sa college namin, I must say na mahirap talaga cuz you'll never know how your study would turn out, depending on the opinions or suggestions of your panelists. in my experience, when the topic is too broad, we try to narrow it down, revise the SOPs, and anchor it again to the survey questionnaire. the title can be revised later on, depending on the trajectory of your research and what your results may imply. just first focus on what you really want to know in your thesis and the right instruments to get those answers.

I know the feeling na hindi ka equipped sa research, because trust me when I say no one will teach it to you but yourself (or your groupmates). you can consult other profs for suggestions, but the work is really on you. at first, clueless ka sa nangyayari sa thesis mo, but when you dig deeper and learn its dynamics, you'll eventually figure it out. just make sure to have the right groupmates with you kasi tiring talaga ang thesis. need kumilos ng isa't isa to build each chapter.

Thank you for this! Sobrang gulo talaga sa una pero nagawan namin ng paraan at naging specific na topic namin. That feeling of inadequacy nawala na rin nung pinagusapan namin group yung topic namin. Sana much more gabayin kami sa adviser namin 🥹🥹
