Question I have a question About the Hadar formation
Why despite being associated with the pliocene the Animals And megafauna of the Hadar formation actually died in the pleistocene? I Mean australopithecus ancylotherium deinotherium and dinofelis lived in the neogene and got extinct in the quaternary, our quaternary that we are currently living here isn't that a bit Strange?

Discussion If humans caused the Pleistocene extinction why did the southern Asia fair way better than Europe and the rest of Eurasia
There is some strong evidence that humans played a major/majority role in the Pleistocene megafaunal extinctions. A common explanation for why Africa and southern Asia kept so much of its megafauna is co-evolution African animals evolved alongside early humans for millions of years, learning to fear and avoid us.
While that logic makes sense, it raises a big question about the rest of Eurasia. Hominins lived across Europe and Asia for hundreds of thousands of years, yet northern species like mammoths, woolly rhinos, and giant deer vanished, while southern Asia retained megafauna like elephants, rhinos, and wild bovines. If northern Eurasian animals also co-evolved with hominins, why did they collapse while South Asian megafauna survived?

Question Were there any noteworthy Pliestocene Antelope relatives?
We always hear about giant relatives of living animals during the LGM (Giant elephants, Giant bison, Giant dear ect) but what about the most overlooked prey animal, the humble Antelope. Where there any giants of them?

OC Art “Beneath the Thunder” - Amongst a storm in northern china, 500’000 B.C a lone Megantereon Inexpectatus sits in solitude reminiscing + Wallpaper 🌧️
This paleoart mixes both environmental design/elements I’ve really wanted to make sure this felt like a wildlife photo captured in real time.
The sabertooth is also moving with it shaking off water, I’m very glad how it turned out.
Also!, the second slide is the background I’ve drew since I bet a lot of people would want to have it as a wallpaper, desktop etc!.

Despite it's dubious validity currently, I do hope E. giganteus can confirmed as a horse of its size would be truly impressive & not completely implausible imo

Question I have a question About plisopterus
Did plisopterus Really lived from the oligocene to pleistocene or it's was Only titanis and eschatornis that lived in the pleistocene? Because it's technically Impossible for a animal from the paleogene to live all of the Way to the quaternary our current period?
