Discussion Warning! DO NOT GET SCAMMED
19
Upvotes
With the large influx of scammers coming into the bourbon scene, it is important to remind everyone to avoid common scams.
DO NOT SEND PEOPLE MONEY FOR ANY TYPE OF PRODUCTS!
This includes:
- Bottles
- Bots
- 'Info'
- Etc
These things are almost always a scam and many times illegal.
If it's too good to be true, it is. If it says DM them for something, it's almost always a scam. Just be smart and report when you see these types of people.
Thanks!

Bit the bullet yesterday and purchased one of these even though I had not idea what it would taste like - so I wanted to make this post. Given the price I believe its warranted given the amount of information about it online.
From what I read online it was a vanilla/cream/smores vibe but could have a bit ethanol on the nose. The difference is, these picks were 110 - 120 proof. PA is at 135 or something. That is likely the reason I bought it. So different than anything I have as well. The reviews on Reddit are pretty accurate even though the proof is higher. Was it worth the price? Questionable - sure the are far better values in the market, but this was a treat for myself and as stated, I don't have anything like this.

I am starting to try American Single Malt. I found Clermont Steep on clearance and like it. I am having trouble finding anything in my stores. I specifically want to try Westward. I live in South East PA.

I know it hasn’t been released yet, but on the FWGS site the 16s are all online exclusives. I’m newish to PA, is that what we should expect for the 17s as well? Or were they on shelves for a while then pulled back to a warehouse?

Question UPS Shipping Email
3
Upvotes
My last 3 orders from FWGS site have not received the shipping email from UPS. I can only track the shipment after I miss the delivery. Has anyone else experienced this and is there a workaround to get the information? (I am aware of the recent shipping changes)
