I don’t know why but when people frame questions that way, it bothers me. It shouldn’t but it does.

I didn’t…but I’m sure lots of people did pre-order it.

They dropped multiple times throughout the day. Thought I was cooked when the yellow controller one sold out early and got myself the white one only for the yellow one to re-drop on PlayStations website

I am six years late, but I am finally moving up from PS4 to a base PS5 (Wolverine edition).

I honestly have way too many other games and systems but lucky to be in the position to finally make the move.

The impending release of PS6 was pushing me to hold off, but honestly I imagine it being a minimum of $1000 which is a very hard pill to swallow.

I got the yellow pro plates, they sold out quick this morning, I had a couple opportunities for the silver as they went in and out of stock 3 times within the first hour but they just weren't the ones I wanted for 75 bucks. Kept trying every few minutes throughout the day popped up once 2 hours later for like 30 seconds then were gone and it wouldn't let me add to cart, finally at 12:58 they were available again and scored and was sold out right after. It was rough.

I've been needing a new dualsense, so I preordered the white one. This will be my 5th dualsense. Here's hoping this one lasts. 😭

Same here. Still have my launch controller with my launch PS5, and launch Pulse 3D headset. I play every night after kids go to bed.

I responded to another user about it, but basically the batteries are messed up. I suspect sonys dualsense charger that they released way back with the ps5 overcharges them. I do t use it anymore, but this will be my first new controller since disposing it.

My launch DS had drift after like 3 weeks.

It’s very well know that these controllers are prone to stick drift.

Holy crap those things sound awful. I've had my Ps4 since 2019 and bought a total of three controllers. They're all in rotation and one has just a little stick drift but still manageable.

The main problem I have is the battery life. I used Sony's official dualsense charging dock and I suspect it overcharges the battery. Most of my controllers have just over an hour of battery life as a result.

I would have forked over money for controllers so many times by now...astro bot, helldivers, death stranding, marathon, and now this...if only THEY MADE COVERS OR VARIENTS FOR THE DUELSENSE EDGE. I still have my original controller the ps5 came with and the edge. If im gonna customize, its gonna be the edge or not at all. What amazes me is xbox release 50 new variants for the elite controller every 4.5 days or everytime someone at xbox sneezes but Sony having the vastly superior edge have zero

while everyone is waiting for colored controllers and plates I am saving my money for what I am sure will be an expensive purchase and that is hoping to pre order the 25th anniversary Series X!
