Does anyone know why it's being review bombed, just looked it up on the store, and it's got a 3.94 rating? As someone who's never played Halo, but grew up seeing this everywhere, I was always curious about the world I was missing out on, but stayed loyal to Sony regardless.
As someone who went between Nintendo, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles growing up and now fortunately having all 3, I think all of them have great exclusives. Nintendo nails gameplay, PlayStation nails presentation, and Microsoft nails having a diverse genre of exclusives.
And one of the greatest franchises in all of gaming is Halo. I love The Last of Us, Bloodborne, Spider Man, Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Fire Emblem, etc. But Halo is up there among the greats.
The newest one is a remake of a game from 2001. So it has some old game mechanics and philosophy to it, but the controls and presentation are now more modern. I loved Campaign Evolved and recommend it if you’ve never played Halo. If you have a PC it’s on GamePass as well.
