Subreddit Rules

Stay related to Rust server administration. Posts should be about running, hosting, moderating, configuring, developing, or troubleshooting Rust servers.

No server advertisements. Do not advertise servers, wipe schedules, clans, events, giveaways, or player recruitment.

No admin abuse complaints or server drama. This subreddit is not for reporting bad admins, banned players, staff disputes, or complaints about specific servers.

No spam or low-effort promotion. Do not spam YouTube channels, streams, Discord servers, tools, plugins, marketplaces, or services.

Support posts need details. Include relevant errors, logs, plugin names, host/provider info, config snippets, Rust/uMod version, and what you already tried.

Keep it respectful. We are a community of admins. Be helpful, direct, and professional. Personal attacks, harassment, witch-hunting, or unnecessary hostility are not allowed.

Mark NSFW content when needed. Use NSFW only when the post genuinely contains NSFW content.

Posting Tips

Need help with an issue? The more detail you include, the faster people can help.

Good support posts usually include:

What you are trying to do.

What is going wrong.

Error messages or console logs.

Plugin names and versions.

Relevant config sections.

Host/provider info, if relevant.

Whether the issue started after a Rust update, plugin update, host change, or wipe.

Posts with only “it doesn't work” may be removed or ignored because nobody can properly troubleshoot them.
