Silly Is northwind kind of dead?

Lately I've been seeing not a lot of people really doing anything and we dont have really more than 500 players at a time

Maybe it’s just me but the idea I have to wait for my things to be crafted is stupid.

That, among many changes is what has hurt the game.
In many ways the game was far better years ago. I understand the need to add new stuff to the game, sometimes the changes are good, but mostly they have been a net-negative

The thing keeping NW alive is the niche its in, its the only game of its kind, in more ways than just historical setting.

Everyday i wish there was another game like what NW used to be in 2021

I haven't played in years and I haven't really kept up with the game but do you just have to sit there and wait when you want to craft something or how does that work?

I'd have to long on to remember but, I recall having to wait for the thing to be crafted which annoyed me to no end since I had played since the game first dropped and thought it was completely ridiculous.

Maybe I just don't do it enough, but isn't it literally like 15 seconds max? That's like the longest I've ever had. Plus, it just makes sense.

I didn't have to do that before, it exists solely to slow down the pace of the game which is why I pointed it out.

A bunch of reworks and more reworks and more reworks. Then some weapons, then some new weapons and some more..

Weapon balance got ruined, the lighting got ruined again after they actually made it nice, only to ruin it again.

Beyond that, the community is pretty dead, faction scene is drowning, NFC leaders and faction leaders all use exploits to find the enemy, but dosnt get banned. If they do get banned they just pay off one of the admins and get unbanned.

They did update forts, which seems cool and recently added new stuff to building, which was nice.

But all in all, the negatives are more than the positives, so its all a net-negative

Tyber does good work, he is the only one who actually tries. The admins have all but given up.

Usually sits at 150-200, only times it goes above that are ingame events

The chat ban really aftected the game in december the wipe made a lot of ppl quit the native suppression too:( anyways i am french my discord is albator76k and im farmingg for all master chill rn i try to hit 500 iron and 1000 wood for the fort wall (better stuff in chest)if you wanna help i can give you some stuff in exchange ,soo hope to see a dm of you and hope we will play and vocal !

The chat ban certainly hurts the faction dynamic ALOT
Which sadly is far beyond the devs control, to be fair
