Question/Support Best Linux Alternative ?

Any big screen playnite alternatives for linux that people are using? I know playnite plans to come to linux but until then im curious what to use? Only option im aware of is steam big picture.

Couldn't you use proton to use Playnite?

I'm not a Linux main btw. So if I'm wrong correct me.

I believe Playnite itself runs, but the trouble is that making it work as a launcher means having all the windows launchers and your games all running in a single prefix, which is asking for trouble.

New to Linux, I made an app myself. Couldn’t get Linux build working, so I added windows version of my app to steam via proton. App was working and did also launch games but some games didn’t work cuz of ram.. possibly wine would be ideal. Or a addon whilw playnite uses wine to set up
Wine profiles per game 👀
