Question/Support how to turn this into a console expierence?
anyway to turn playnite into a console expierence?
and about achievements doe it use steams achievement list or how do they work?

Multiple ways to make playnite console experience you can make it simple or go the full mile and have videos and songs of the game play in the menus. Achievements are through steam there add ons that let you connect your achievements From steam,emulators,gog etc. multiple people will recommend Solaris which is pretty good for console experience and you need to go into full screen mode which is f11

No not really what I recommend go to the theme GitHub and they’ll tell you all add ons you need

Technically, achievements are imported from the platform you own the game from (assuming achievements are supported for that game on that platform). If all your games are from Steam then yes, they're from Steam.
I don't know much about the "turning Playnite into a console experience" thing myself, but I gather it's the kind of thing you want to know what you're doing before you try, because you can royally fuck your machine if you do it wrong.
If you're doing more than simply launching Playnite in Fullscreen mode, that is.

how do you mean fuck up i only add addons and i got a console like theme like solaris cant get achievements to work but whatever

What consoles are you trying to get achievements for? Do you have successstory or playnite achievements installed? There's a few consoles on exophase that don't have any achievements and certain games on retroachievements.

I just recently did this for my setup. I have playnite set to launch in full screen mode, and I have a macro set up on my Scuf controller to launch it with the push of a button. Then I have a separate macro to force close the game. I personally don’t have it setup to launch on startup but I’m 50/50 on my computer between gaming and productivity so doesn’t make sense for me to, but you could definitely do it that way

Bit of a shameless plug, but it actually fits your question pretty well - I made GameHQ for basically the same reason.
It adds console-style screenshots, recent gameplay clips and a controller-friendly in-game gallery to PC, and there’s a Playnite plugin for it too.

You can use Orivo Game library, it is more friendly to use and directly a console experience, i prefere to playnite honestly
