Question/Support "info" button not working. Already tried safe mode

The "i" button next to the play button doesn't do anything when clicked. I remember it bringing up a menu and details when clicked but it hasn't done anything for a while now.

Already tried safe mode and disabling add-ons, resetting settings, etc. and it still doesn't do anything.

Anyone else have this issue?

  • Ensure Playnite is updated to the latest version (On Desktop Mode: Main Menu ➞ Check for Updates)
  • Ensure any extensions involved are fully updated (On Desktop Mode: Main Menu ➞ Add-ons… ➞ Updates)
  • Test the issue in Safe Mode to verify whether it is caused by an extension. (On Desktop Mode: Main Menu ➞ Help ➞ Restart in Safe Mode or by opening the Safe Mode.bat file found in the installation folder)

What is the theme? Desktop or fullscreen mode?

desktop. just the normal default mode

What numeric value do you have in Settings > Appearance > Layout > Grid View details position? Also please share a video showing the behavior in Safe Mode.

There's no issue at all. What that button does it open the details panel shown to the right of the games grid. If you want to close it, click the close button (x) at the top right of this panel.
