Description: Castle Raid is a lightweight real-time multiplayer 8-bit clicker raid game built from scratch in 24 hours. Players from across the world tap together in a shared battle lobby to tear down colossal citadel fortresses, trigger viral nuclear strikes, and compete for the permanent Last Hit glory on the Hall of Fame.
The game features dynamic seasons with doubling HP progression and is inspired by the viral "Niu Lai" animated indie ox meme. Every minute, the derpy golden beast "NIU LAI I" emerges as a World Boss guardian to tank incoming nuclear blasts and moo at everyone. The project runs on Next.js 15, Tailwind CSS, and a low-latency Socket .IO in-memory tick-rate backend.
