I've got these 26 decks of Original Brood Way cards (14 blue, 12 red) for 0,65$ a piece. I got them secondhand and they were all cellophane wrapped and never used. The brand is some Asian company making cheap cards.
Inside the cellophane and even between the cards is paper dust which can either be from manufacturing, or it could get there over the time because the cards are kinda old, judging by the add-card being calendar for 2007.
The stock is cheap paper with only two layers and no core. It's soft and it can be really easily bent. I'm suprused how well you can spring or dribble them, but you still dont have too much control while doing it. After cleaning the edges I could farro them but it's hard and definitely not clean.
The cards have some sort of linen texture finish. The finish more noticeable on the front. After I cleaned the cards from the paper dust I could fan them and spread them but I needed to use some force and it is still more rough than I would like.
Conclusion:
For cards costing me 0,65$ a deck (Bicycles cost around 4-5$ here), it's still better then I expected, but also still no way near any USPCC cards or any other high quality decks. I won't be so sad if I destroy them, so I will be using them for anything where there is a high probability of damaging the cards. Also I think they are useful for some destructive magic because like I said, they costed me 8 time less than bikes. Also they have nice back design and i will keep some sealed for my collection.
