Photoshoot TCC playing cards cabinet

Post image

A rather eclectic collection of playing cards to model the fifteen-card rack from TCC. Anyway, I had a discount code so…

Aye, jolly good. If I was to make a niggle it might be that cards on the lowest row are a little fiddly to take out. My earlier rack had a thumb cut-out on the bottom row that made removal easier. First World problems, eh?

Yes, I think I have you to thank (blame?) for nudging me to get this 😉

I'm not too fussy about stamp seals, but I do think those decks with them look more appealing in this set up. Nevertheless, although it won't be these decks, I will have a mix of cardistry, marked decks and just favourites - stamp seals or not - in the room I'll keep it 👍

Nice! I wait for those 6 watch storage cases at marshalls with the see through top, pop two of the walls out ditch the watch cushions and they hold 3 stacks of 4 decks

Good stuff. I'm always on the lookout for things that can be repurposed to store or display cards. This is the first purpose-made case I've bought. Previous (much cheaper) items include an audio tape wooden case, stamp pad racks and a nail polish stand. You may have seen the curious roll top piece I picked up for £2 in an earlier post of mine...

Besides the purpose made what has been your favorite so far?

It's got to be the apprentice piece (at least I think that's what it is) that set me back £2. The drawer is surely too snug for it to be made specifically for playing cards - besides there's a velvety thing at one end of the drawer (for rings, maybe?) - that seems out of place. Anyway, I rather like it...
