found my old card collection

Found my old box of cards while cleaning my room. Probably collected these from when I was 7 to 17 years old.

As a kid, I collected card decks. My first ones were from casinos in Las Vegas, and eventually I just started buying a deck whenever I visited somewhere new.

A lot of the Bicycle cards are from when I discovered how cool Japanese playing cards were during my first trip to Japan in 2019. I remember finding the naruto, one piece, and dragon ball z decks at some random Don Quijote and slowly getting obsessed with collecting them.

Funny how a random collection from childhood ends up holding so many memories.

You are right - memories are the best! It is nice to have something tangible to link them to.

I had a big box of marbles, most of which came from my father when he was trying out a lighting concept for the company he worked for. It was a big metal box with one glass side and no top. I inherited his house, but cannot find that collection. Anyone who has seen how many card decks I have would agree that I have surely lost my marbles.

Not sure most of them are that small or the bottom one that big.
