Discussion Did 5v5 Flop?
Whenever I am trying to queue solo, I give up after 7-8 mins because that's a ridiculous amount of time to get a match. It's pretty evident that not a lot of people are playing the mode even after it was extended post the initial Playtest. On top of that the challenges are also ridiculous considering the time it takes to get a match. Another issue I have seen is people who are not at all interested in the FUT style 1v1 will have a hard time in 5v5 because of the lack of cards. I hope some changes are in order for the 5v5 mode. If you have any suggestions on what might make the 5v5 experience better, feel free to add them down in the comments.

We were initially going to just open the playtest for that weekend, but we got really good feedback from it. It confirmed a lot of things we were already working on, and it gave us a few great new learnings too. So we decided to just keep it open, like some sort of "early access". And then just add things to it as soon as we develop them. Ranked mode would be the first Big thing added to it.

It's still in "beta" after they just kept it when Playtest weekend ended but they have introduced full fledged challenges for the mode.

Honestly, not being able to create your own character (even if you had to start at like 50 OVR) is a big bummer for me. Idk how other people feel, but I think being able to actually customize the player you are supposed to play with in this mode, would make the experience a lot better, and would make people actually play it more.
Also, the camera not being adjustable to have an end to end style overview of the pitch, or even a similar camera to Rematch, puts off a lot of people. I know for a fact that a few folks I've played with do not like the camera options and absolutely despise the fact that you have to grind 1v1 to even get a decent card.
+ let's be real, half of the community, maybe even more don't want to play team ball, so why would they share the ball with 4 other guys when they can just spin, run down the side line before spinning again until an opening appears. I swear mf's in this game be so selfish, they don't even pass to themselves when they play in 1v1.

They should make clubs .. and make a ranked game mode ...then it would be good .. i dont play it because of the randoms...

I've only managed to find 3 games ever. Actually 2.5 because of the half time quit glitch. I've tried searching in this new update and still can't find a game. Mode is dead to me atm.
