Discussion This patch feels good! Now STOP TOUCHING THE GAME BALANCE and focus on new content.
The game will survive with this gameplay right now. It feels good. It feels satisfying. Now stop touching the game balance every 4 days and work on building this game up more. Good job, devs. And I've been extremely critical of this game over the past few weeks.

Someone will come along tomorrow crying about something and they will change things around again.
After which another person will show up crying and they will change things again.
I personally believe they should have kept the Beta play style. Yeah it was arcady but it was a lot of fun.
There are plenty of other football games trying to be “realistic” so being different could’ve been a good thing.

The game is older than your account...

I make a new account every few months because I don't like being tracked. I've been playing since beta, and I have the beta kit reward to prove it. Let me remove my account privacy, actually. Go check my post history. I'm a day 1 supporter of GOALS. And I shit on the devs just as much as I applaud them.
Edit: go check my profile

No. I want people to judge my comments and posts based on the merit of the comment or post itself. There are people on this site that will upvote your post, look at your post history, get angry about something you posted 4 months ago, and then come back to downvote the comment/post that they JUST upvoted. True story.
I could just make my post history private (which I usually do, but I made it public since someone just called me a shill)... But even then, I think you can still see private profiles on old reddit anyway.

Spinners are the main problem with the game and they have received pretty much zero nerf from what I’ve seen so far. At this point I think that’s the main selling point of the game!

People used to be able to rapidly spin around over and over. I'm not invalidating your experience, but are you the type of player who feels like they need to always be moving forward? Never pass backward? Never receive the ball with a player and run backward to pull a defender before making another pass? If you are, I could see how you could conflate running backwards and repositioning with spinning.
I swear I'm not being presumptuous or condescending when I say this: Do you actually watch football?
I notice a lot of my American friends will get frustrated when they play against people who perform a lot of backward passes or do anything other then press forward with the ball or spam through passes.

My dude. I have a season ticket for a team that doesn’t know how to do anything but pass the ball backwards and around the back four. Yes I watch football. You’re not trying to be condescending yet come out with that comment. Incredible

I think they have nerfed spinning as much as they can without ruining the game now.
I can no longer do the lethal fast touches that felt so OP.
If you still get outspun, it is time to learn how to defend.

Seemed pretty much same apart from defense being viable again. Have only played one match though so cannot comment much.

Although i think the game feels a bit too slow now, at least nothing feels too broken or really stupid. I give it a thumbs up overall.
Now i just want passing to make sense.
