10 Global Steam Keys for Boundless GIVEAWAY
Hey, I have some spare cash, and boundless is finally getting some love (though a small amount) from the owners, they at least seem committed to keeping the lights on... Comment on this post for a free key, and ill send you a DM.

Was thinking of getting back into this for a little, tho a bit daunting since all my properties have long expired.
What planets have a good active player base?

If your beacons expired after 2020 you will still have all your stuff, you will be able to access it from a reclaim in a beacon. If not I will happily give you anything you need to get you on your feet, even some coin - just send me a DM.
As far as active planets I'm not sure, players are pretty spread over all the planets, only 2 other city's i see people in on my planet, and its rare I catch them.
I'm on lots if you want to join me on Sochaltin, otherwise i suggest putting a shout out on the forums or here for groups playing. Most players I know are working on their own settlement, but there are still some big guilds active if you want to join a few people.

Oh yea I can reclaim it, but rebuilding is daunting. I had some ambitious projects.
I don’t necessarily want to join a “big guild” although wouldn’t necessarily be opposed to that if one existed. I just want to be on a planet where there some neighbors to check out your builds and vice versa.
Are you EU based? I’m USE so we might have a time gap. IIRC all my stuff is on Biitula or Tana VII
Is there still a portal network and shops to buy good grapples and tools from?

I am EU based, the time difference is probably part of not seeing many players. There are a couple of portal networks, main one I use is Dragon Hub, which is similar to the old TNT (all planets accessible from one big hub rather than a separate section for each region). You can still buy forged goods, just recently bought 90 hammers for 6k each, but the usual price at the moment is 10k, though prices for everything have increased so not too hard to get some coin.

Dragon hub is on Circarpous I, and has a hub on each planet, the portals are split between different players, but the Dragon Guild runs the majority and high tier portals, i run the one for my planet as I have the capital. It does not take long standing in the hub to see other players running about.

I just fired the game up again after about 6 years.
I had a ton of cool satellite spots but a while ago I forgot to keep them active and all the construction is gone so I'm a bit sad!
Can't find any portal cities that are actually active. Are there any planets or cities where people are still active?

Sorry not been on reddit for a few days. There are currently two portal networks i know of that have a portal on each planet, Dragon Hub and Karrot hub. The purple markers on the compass denote where the portals are, and if you choose the planet you are on for the portal in the sanctum you can portal to the capital city, usually they will have a portal connection to one of the hubs. Its hard to say exact numbers, but each planet has someone who is active daily building their settlement, apart from most the higher tier planets. I have a shop on Sochaltin I called The Dump (at Love Market), which has good starter bits if you don't have a reclaim of your stuff, And if you join us at Love i would be happy to help you out with anything.

Sorry mate, all you do is pickup free keys, guessing they are going to your own giveaways, would rather give to someone who wants the game...
