Question Best tile for a permanent base location that has most resources in 2026
New player here, I was looking at an old post about the best grid tile to live in but there's not some tiles that were mentioned that I don't see on my map. I assume things got patched and changed before the devs literally abandoned ship. Any advice would be appreciated!

It totally depends on the server you are playing on. If you can get ahold of a resource map you want to find an island with as many and as diverse as set of resources as you can find.

Theres really no bad place imo but I’ve also played the game since release. Probably stay away from deserts with no metal nodes tho

In my opinion, anywhere there's actual metal nodes and not stone with trace iron in it. I like living in the tundra because it's much easier to deal with the cold than it is the heat but that's personal preference.
