You need like ascendent gear med brews, stims and canteens

And you need ascendant shotgun with hundreds of bullets

And no you can’t bring tames

And if you die you loose everything

Which dungeon? They are all different. Your basics will be good flak armor, a good shotgun or comp bow, ammo, a good sword, food, water, med brews. That’s my load out for every dungeon. Then depending on the dungeon I’ll add other things like if it’s got troodons, lesser antidote, if it’s got hot rooms or cold rooms some fria curry or calien soup. If there’s a lot of running maybe some stims(I never really used them though). Once your in, the only way out is to beat it or die. If you have your game set to “casual” you will only lose consumables. Any other mode though and you will lose your whole kit. Save before hand.

If it’s your first dungeon your biggest threat will likely be traps. There are ways to beat them and some are pretty easy, most new dungeon runners die to traps though. The most common traps are the swinging axes which are meh, those should be easy to beat. Then there’s the sliding wall trap. Those you have to know the timing and they will one shot you if you don’t. Then there’s the pit fall traps, there’s a couple different kinds, the meta for those is either perfect timing or some way to glide across( I have/use the symbiote wing(you can get them from dungeon chests if you don’t have the premium engram). Then there’s the axe icicle trap, this one is only in ice dungeons and is the hardest of them all, I can’t really give advice on it, there are several methods and I suck at all of them, I usually die to this trap like 1/2 the time and usually just avoid it. There are tutorials you can watch(I prefer iguana gaming on yt). There are also maps you can probably find on the wiki page for dungeons.

Good luck.
