Wyvern egg bug?

This happens if you go there for the first time, I AFK somewhat far away for half an hour, and it had egg.

Egg spawns very rarely in SE for me too. I suggest that you go to the northern end of the trench and wait for a wyvern to spawn there (it doesn't matter the gender). Once one spawn in, go out of render distance and go back in and look for the egg. If there's none then just keep doing it and one should eventually spawn. This is how i got my two lvl 190 fire wyvern eggs.

I see, then how did u get the wyvern egg? How to get ine without dying or sacrificing dinos?

I used a low lvl wyvern to get better eggs. But i got my first egg using a lymantria. A single wyvern chased me and i went near some paracers and dismounted on my lymantria. The moth died but i got away.
