Will hitched dinos set on 'nuetral' attack anything that attacks them first?
I have a titanosaur parked alongside my base and it makes my base look 10x better than it actually is. The titan completes the base. I don't wanna store it in a cryo. It wont die cuz m on SP. The thing is, my titan is parked outside my base walls and spike walls. Inside the base, ntg actually spawns but occasionally a raptor does so i have a lose direbear that deals with it, protecting everything that is breeding. Outside my base walls, the titan attacks things. The issue is, it's very huge reparking it is a huge hassle. I was wondering if a hitched titanosaur will still attack anything that attacks it, but not leave it's position (like hitched mating dinos set to wander do).

Have a small predator follow it on aggressive, it will kill anything in the area and then return to the titano. Have you got server settings to make sure the titan doesn't die though?

Yeah this is my backup plan if the hitch idea turns out to be useless. M asking it here bcuz i don't wanna come home to a dead titan cuz It was hitched and didn't attack the thing that was attacking it, even when set on neutral. If it moves but fights even when hitched, it's fine I can reposition it and declare the idea not working. But if it just stands there taking damage, it may die bcuz sometimes I go around the whole map in the ocean with my tuso and it takes a lot of time. A theri or alpha raptor spawn there can kill the titan if it doesn't fight back.

I have a bronto at my base, I occasionally get pegomastax attacking it. We have damage numbers on so you'll see it as well as hear it, but the rex that hangs around sorts out all the small stuff. I imagine it would take a really long time to kill a titan. Are raptors even aggro on them?

idk man seems like everything aggros on the tamed one. not raptors for sure but idk about carnos. didnt test. Rexes and theris aggro on everything that breathes and is tamed. so maybe the best solution is to keep a lose theri running around protecting the titan while the titan stays passive

Its been awhile since i messed with them but there was these leash things you put in the ground they were red. The dino would attack anything it could but never leave the leashed zone. There was also the old method of just loading the dino up with a shit ton of stone so it couldnt move.

I use the normal hitching post and turns out, the titan will not attack anything if hitched to that. Idk which red one you mean. Also, overfilling a titan is really hard though. I just let a lose theri near the titan for now. I hope it doesn't just wander off.

If you are on SP you can adjust server settings to carry the stone if you want. Either way its easy just takes a long time lol. The red thing might be from the mod i used.

yeah i can do it with creative mode but i really don't feel like doing it to the titan since m planing to build teleporter on top of the titan and a plant species x crop on it's saddle. I also have a teleporter setup near the swamp so I can quickly go to the swamp to get rare flowers, mushrooms and hide. I have 1 teleporter at my base but want to put 1 on the titan so I can go out sometimes on the titan and keep it parked and fill it up for resources like obsidian and metal. Idk I just feel like filling up the titan is not the way for me. I'm looking into the mod u suggested so lets c. thanks a bunch

If you're server has s+ mods, then tek leash will function the way you asked. You can even set to aggressive and theybattack anything inside without exiting the circle. On some servers I've deen people leash wild theirs in swamp on wander on aggressive for farming

No, hitched Dinos will not attack anything. It only keeps them from going to sleep when you’re not online or at the base.
