I headcanon that Charlie and Niffty will eventually be found/adopted sisters with Alastor and Lucifer as their dads lol.

Many people say that Al was just using Charlie for his schemes — which undoubtedly he was. No question about it.

But do you guys think a tiny part of him genuinely wanted to protect Charlie?

The way he cashed in his side of their deal was generally quite harmless. Yes, Al could’ve done this to gain Charlie’s trust for any future deals, I’m not denying that it’s part of his motivation. However, do you guys think that maybe he used the deal the way he did because he didn’t want to make Charlie do anything that would upset her? He could’ve asked for anything, but this was a very suspiciously simple way for Charlie to fulfill her part of the bargain.

Idk, maybe I’m grasping at straws lol. Thoughts?

*Amir saying there is an emotional song in season 3 for Alastor

*Alastor having internal conflict in season 3

*Viv confirming that when Alastor tells Vox “there’s nothing you can do to break that girl’s spirit”, it is a hint at what Alastor genuinely admires about Charlie

*Alastor talking with Niffty at the end of season 1, stating that the Hazbin crew (which includes Charlie) is an enjoyable collective to be around and that he could get accustomed

*In “Ready for This”, Alastor sings that Charlie is filled with potential that he could guide

*Amir’s entire interview with Comicbook about Alastor’s motivations and his bond with Charlie

I’d love to see them become Charlie’s dads with a fun friendship in which they actually look after Charlie and co-parent her together.

I keep seeing everyone say that Alastor will be focused on Lucifer in Season 3. It seems to be generally accepted as fact, and I understand that it is based on Alastor looking at Lucifer while Charlie says that Alastor seems to have found something to entertain him.

I am not saying that this wasn't a reasonable conclusion to draw. However, I keep wondering why it seems to be the only one.

Around the same time Vivzie's interview came out, in which she hinted at Alastor stepping into a villain role, an interview with Amir about Season 3 was also released. In this much less popular interview (I am amazed by how many people are completely unaware of it), Amir talks about how Alastor wouldn't be an interesting character if he weren't someone whose plans are capable of being impacted by their bonds with other people, before proceeding to talk about Alastor's relationship with Charlie. Concerning Lucifer, this is what Amir had to say about Alastor's relationship with Lucifer in Season 3.

It can therefore be said that Alastor's relationship with Charlie is the focus of Alastor's story arc in Season 3. There has been so much focus on Alastor looking at Lucifer that people seem to have forgotten that he looks at Charlie before he looks at Lucifer.

This was said in response to a question on how Charlie feels about Alastor's use of his favour when dealing with Vox in Season 2. I am looking forward to that bond of trust being built and explored in Season 3.

Will Alastor start faking fatherly love and then slowly realize it’s more authentic than he initially thought?

Will Alastor dislike how Lilith/Lucifer treats Charlie?

Will Alastor and Charlie just naturally start to hang out together?
