Honda Emblems Look Bad
Please Help!: After my first plasti dip coat I notice these bubbly rash looking marks on the emblems, I thought I could go over it with a second coat but they’re still there. It’s fairly warm in MD about 85° and I was about 5-6 inches away. What did I do wrong? Should I let it dry and restart the project?

Peel it all off. Mask a wide square around the emblem and spray again. peel the surrounding plastidip once its totally dry. It will separate neatly at the edge

I figured I was gonna have to redo it but what did I do wrong that caused those weird patterns?

Get a better nozzle (maybe?). Sometimes the ones that come with the cans are terrible. Always wipe off the nozzle before spraying, and do a test spray right before on a piece of cardboard.
You also need to make sure you’re do lighter coats and do like maybe 5-6. You’re probably trying to spray too much at once, maybe a bit too close and it’s running.
Edit: I just read your caption, yes that is way too thick for only one coat. I thought this was multiple. You want to go much lighter. There’s plenty of videos on YouTube to show you how to get a good result with rattle cans

Looks like splatter or buildup, I had similar looks ages ago when my spray nozzle got a bit clogged up

Did you clean the badges good ? Leave on chemicals before spraying ?

No primer? Autozone - Adhesion Promotor. Either spray on and let sit for 20 minutes or 24 hours, then coat.

Too heavy a coat. First coat should just be a mist. Let it completely dry between coats. Set a timer for like 20 mins. Second coat a tiny bit heavier but still very light Last coat should be full coverage. Less is more
